Chine : Une licorne « aux caractéristiques chinoises »

Secouant 30 années de médiocrité institutionnelle, l’ancienne imprimerie officielle de la république populaire de Chine, rebaptisée China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation, a, au début des années 2010, fait le pari de la technologie et du marché. En 2015, les productions du groupe : coupures, hologrammes, composants sécurisés rejoignent, et parfois dépassent, le niveau de ses concurrents. Résolument projetée à l’international, avec des prix de moitié inférieurs à ceux de ses concurrents, le groupe a conquis en trois ans environ un tiers du marché. Bangladesh, Corée du Nord, États-Unis, Hong Kong, Indonésie, Irak, Japon, Macao, Philippines, Pologne, Sri Lanka, Thaïlande, Vietnam sont ses clients déclarés.

Shaking off thirty years of institutional mediocrity, the former Government printing office of the People’ Republic of China, renamed China Banknote and Minting Corporation, has bet, at the beginning of the years 2010, on technology and market. In 2015, the group’s productions: banknotes, holograms, secure components, catch up with, and sometimes overtake, its rival’s level. Resolutely focused on international projection, with prices half of those of its competitors, the Group won in three years one third of the market. Bangladesh, North Korea, U.S.A., Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, Macao, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, are declared customers.
