Un jury américain, en 2018, a indemnisé un homme devenu cancéreux, M. Dewayne Johnson parce qu’il avait été en contact avec l’herbicide Round Up de Monsanto. Comme ce désherbant, appelé aussi agent orange avait été épandu sur le Vietnam pendant la guerre du Vietnam, le Vietnam tente d’obtenir une indemnisation des dégâts que cet agent orange avait causés, en se fondant sur la jurisprudence Dewayne Johnson, en vain jusqu’à présent.
In 2018, Mr.Dewayne Johnson, a man who had developed cancer after being in contact with Monsanto’s weedkiller Round Up, received compensation by an American jury. As that weedkiller also known as Agent Orange had been spread over Vietnam during the Vietnam War, Vietnam is now seeking compensation for the damages caused by Agent Orange, basing itself on the Dewayne Johnson case, so far to no avail.
