China – United States – Taiwan : Kissinger, bin Laden and Zelensky

Three personalities have fortuitously changed the course of history in the China-U.S. relationship to China’s benefit. 


July 1971: secret visit of Henry Kissinger to China. His idea was to initiate an alliance with China against the USSR, an alliance that would lead to diplomatic recognition on 16 December 1978.

September 11, 2001: attack on the Twin Towers in New York. Bin Laden becomes the number one enemy of the United States.

February 24, 2022: Ukraine is attacked by Russia. The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky asks for help from the West. […]
